Youthful From The Beginning

We came into this world with youthful skin. Our skin was delicate and needed care to protect our body. Our parents took care when bathing us using gentle soaps and then applying lotions to keep moisture on our baby skin. Going from newborn to a six months old we were nourished with vegetables, fruits and cereals and later proteins which were rich in vitamins. A healthy diet will play an important role in youthful skin. If we are taught this as children we will have developed good eating habits and that is something we can take with us throughout our lifetime and teach our children.

We kept our youthful skin through our toddler years running around carefree even through our scrapes and bruises that eventually healed. Then we grew into teenagers still having great skin, no wrinkles maybe some blemishes here and there. Nothing some acne cream couldn’t get rid of. We still had our youth. Our skin was still great over all. Growing beyond our teen years we came into adulthood. We looked in the mirror and what did we see? Still, no wrinkles looking back at us. Still, Youthful skin.

Keeping our Body Youthful

In order to have youthful looking skin it is important to have a healthy and strong body. We start losing muscle mass as we age. Our skin can sag and wrinkle in areas all over the body from many reasons. Weight gain and weight loss can be a couple of reasons. Bad eating habits, even though a person doesn’t gain any weight can still cause your body and skin to look older and not youthful. We do become what we eat. We also need to be wise to what we use on our body too. Diet and exercise are part of the package of keeping us feeling and looking young.

There are many types of exercise to try that will fit into many lifestyles. Turning forty and each decade of life after that our exercise may have to change a bit. We may find that we can’t keep up with what we did five years ago and have to change the pace to something different. Yoga, swimming, walking, stretching and stretch bands and some weight lifting for our joints are good forms of exercise. If you really don’t like exercising maybe go out dancing or just take your dog for a walk. Get your heart rate up every day.

Youthful Mind-Excercise It

Keeping a sharp mind is as important as keeping great skin and a healthy body. By Reading new information and gaining more knowledge about the things that interest you, you are keeping your mind youthful. Having hobbies that you engage in, such as water colors, playing some kind of music instrument, making jewelry, writing, designing something or playing with your grandchildren all will help keep your mind sharp and young. It has been written in articles that we need to keep our minds active to help us from memory loss. Brain exercises are great too with so many games on tablets now for older adults. Practice memorizing new information or memory games. Youthful from head to toe and inside and out.

Aloe Vera Is Healthy For Your Skin And Body

Aloe Vera-Shopping For The Right One

There are many brands and varieties of Aloe Vera. You can see many advertisements for Aloe Vera and how great it is for skin and health. Some claim that their product is 100 percent Aloe Vera but if you look on the label you will find many other ingredients listed on the bottle with the Aloe Vera. It is always important to read the back of the label to make sure you are buying what is being advertised on the front of the label. Sure that ingredient is in the product but what else is in there? Are the other ingredients safe for you or are they harsh chemical preservatives?

Some ingredients I found listed on the back of a Certified Organic Aloe Vera gel:  Organic Alcohol which is used as a preservative. They used a Gluten free pure form Ethyl alcohol that was USDA certified. Organic Glycerin locks in the moisture.  Organic Xanthan Gum is a thickener

You can purchase certified organic Aloe Vera gel to use for your skin. It is found in stores and online. It doesn’t have the added harsh chemicals in it and there are online sites that show the ingredients before you purchase it.

Here are some more ingredients from another label on a 97.5% Aloe Vera Bottle.

Aloe Vera 100 % Gel

Triethanolamine- this is used for PH balance but can still cause a problem and is considered toxic. It poses a threat to the immune and respiratory system. It can cause damage to your organs with use even when small amounts are in the product when you are using it over time. If this ingredient is in your Aloe Vera you may experience watery or burning eyes after applying it around your eyes or itching skin. If you do experience those reactions you should stop using it. This may be an allergic reaction to this chemical.

DMDM hydantoin is a chemical that is basically Formaldehyde. Its primary duty is to keep bacteria and mold from forming over the shelf life. It is claimed it is okay to use in the cosmetic industry in small amounts. Why don’t they just put the word Formaldehyde on the list instead of the word the consumer has no idea what is stands for? When you look up this word DMDM hydantoin it says, Formaldehyde donor “slowly releasing small safe amounts of formaldehyde”. How many consumers look up each word on the ingredient label to see what it really is while they are standing in the store? I’m sure their are several words for other ingredients.

Pick out the best Aloe Vera for you and your skin. Test it out on a section of your skin before applying it all over to be sure it isn’t too strong for your skin. If it is 100 % pure Aloe Vera Gel it will probably need to be refrigerated because it won’t have all the preservatives in it. Getting one that you can store on the shelf try to get one with the least ingredients. Check the ingredients.

Aloe Vera Is An Old Medicinal Plant

Aloe was documented a very long time ago. 2,200 BC was the earliest record found of Aloe. Clay boards were found in Nippur. Apparently Aloe was used for the intestines. It has always amazed me that back in those times that certain things related to health were thought to be people being possessed by a demon. Aloe was used to rid a person of the demon. People thought Aloe had powers.

Aloe Vera was also mentioned in Biblical times. It is written in the Bible and referred to as Aloe. It was said in The book of John Chapter 19 Myrrh and Aloes were used to wrap the body of Jesus before they put him to rest. This was the custom for the Jews. Egyptians used it as embalming fluid.

It was used in Ancient Egypt by the queens for skin beauty. Aloe Vera was used for wounds and leprosy. In Mesopotamia people believed Aloe Vera would ward evil spirits away.

Aloe Vera- Different Daily Uses

Face wash- use Aloe Vera as a face wash. You can find it already to purchase or you can find a recipe and make it yourself. One recipe for a face wash I have seen several times is

2- 3 tablespoons of Aloe Vera, 1 Teaspoon of Olive Oil
2 to 3 drops of lemon.

Aloe Vera facial scrub is something you can do a couple times a week to rid yourself of dead skin. Recipes can also be found online too or can be bought locally.

Lotions and creams that have Aloe Vera in them for anti-aging can be used in your daily beauty care. They are great for moisturizing your all over skin, arms, legs, hands and not just your face. If you have skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis or acne. Aloe Vera can help with the itching, flaking and also the scarring.

Aloe Vera helps Skin By Taking It Internally

Drinking Aloe Vera will eliminate toxins in your intestinal tract by absorbing them. It I is a strong medicinal plant and it should be used carefully. Drinking it is good for you. If you don’t care for the taste you can add it to your juice.

I would suggest buying an organic product and 100 percent pure Aloe Vera Juice. You can also find recipes for making the juice yourself. Works wonderful for a detox.

Drinking Aloe Vera juice will also help clear up and heal damaged skin making it look better because it is cleaning out your entire body of the free radicals going through your liver, kidneys, stomach and blood stream which eventually works out through your skin.

Aloe- A Daily Source Of Vitamins

The Aloe Vera plant is a succulent plant. It comes in a variety of shapes and sizes. Its leaves hold the clear liquid that is pressed out for Aloe Vera juice or for Aloe Vera gel that nourishes our bodies. It is grown here in the United States and in other countries both organically and commercially.

It is loaded with B vitamins 1, 2, 3, 6 and 12. It contains vitamins A, C, E and has folic acid as well. Vitamin B 12 is really good for your brain and nervous system. It is a really good juice to drink and aides in your digestion and it will help clear up your skin if you have any skin issues.

Aloe Vera is a Beautiful plant to have around the home. If you get a burn and you don’t have any aloe Vera Gel on hand you can always pick a leaf off your plant and apply the gel directly to your burn. It works well for that. I have used it that way on my face when I have had a sunburn and have been out of Product. They really are medicinal internally and externally.

Eating Healthy And Using Organic Beauty Products Can Help Repair Damaged Skin-Unhealthy Habits Can Damage Our Skin And Bodies

You Can Have Beautiful Skin- Using Natural Organic Beauty Products And Eating Healthy

What we put into our mouth will eventually show up on our body. Then it will show up on the surface of the skin and face. Eventually, aging will show in wrinkles around our smile and eyes. Hair can become brittle and dry. The entire structure of our body ages. How we take care of ourselves dictates how we age. Health starts inside of the body. It all starts when we are babies and our mothers breast feed us or put us on formula and then start us on baby foods. As we grow we developed our eating habits, either healthy or unhealthy. Unfortunately we as children and young people do not realize as we developed eating habits that it is shaping our future health and can show up on our outward appearance as well.

Eating fast food, a high fat or processed food diet can cause a person to become over weight. Heart disease, stroke and diabetes among other things can be a result of eating this way. It can make people obese. When people decide to lose weight many may have sagging skin or stretch marks that it may be hard to tighten skin without surgery. There are some creams and lotions that have worked pretty well on stretch marks and reducing the appearance of such marks.

Another unhealthy habit people do that goes into the body and shows on the skin is smoking. A lot of times this habit starts in teenage years when other kids are smoking. It is a very hard habit to kick and so many people will smoke for years before they quit or they never quit. Some have developed lung cancer or Emphysema and some never developed any disease. They are lucky. It does age skin and especially the face. Smoking can create a lot of wrinkles over time.

Excessive alcohol drinking is another bad habit. Have you ever noticed a person who drinks heavy amounts of alcohol on a daily basis usually over the years looks a good ten or more years older than their actual age? Alcohol dehydrated the body and dries out the skin. Most people that consume large amounts of alcohol do not eat properly because they lose the appetite. A person can become very wrinkled and old looking.

The good news is people can change their bad eating into good eating by changing to fresh cooked and not processed foods. Quit smoking and heavy drinking. Anyone can start living a healthy life style at any age.  Start using natural organic skin products to nourish the skin and as it starts to reverse the damage that has already been done, you will see the transformation taking place.  It gives an amazing sense of satisfaction. Your skin really will look and feel better.

I am an ex smoker. I did not always eat healthy and I was over weight at one time. It is a challenge to change a lifestyle but it is well worth it when you look and feel better.

Vitamin C- It Is Very Good For Healthy Skin
Vitamin C is not only something that is in some of our fruits and vegetables or vitamins we take. They are putting it in skin care products. Vitamin C can reverse the signs of aging too. It reduces wrinkles around the eye area. Creams with vitamin C will smooth out uneven skin and helps with dark spots as well. Healing skin that got damaged from not taking care of it for years of unhealthy habits.

Over Time using anti aging skin care products, you may see a younger you looking back in the mirror.

Some say they noticed a difference in their skin in just a couple of weeks. A good body lotion will make the whole body feel younger and full of moisture.

Vitamin C is in oranges, lemons, and strawberries. Kale, broccoli, brussel sprouts and other dark colored vegetables have vitamin C in them. It is good to eat foods with vitamin C in them to help keep the body balanced with other foods. Vitamin C helps to fight UV rays when out in the sun.

If you don’t like vegetables, try a smoothie that is a mix of fruit and veggies. They are pretty tasty.  Pictured are fruit and vegetables with

vitamin C. It is a water-soluble vitamin so it doesn’t store up in the body. It is important to have vitamin C daily.

Avocados A healthy Fat- Also Used For Skin Care

Avocados are a healthy fat that many use on salads, in different recipe dishes and you will find Avocado oil on the shelves at the super market. It has nutritional value and is loaded with vitamins. It has vitamin E Which is good for scars and marks on the skin. Avocados also has vitamin A and are good for eyes, vitamin D which is good for the immune system, healthy bones and eyes.

Avocados are not just for using in a healthy diet, they are used in skin car products because they can repair skin. Using Avocado oil on skin can make skin nice and soft after a few weeks.

If you have dry skin it can relieve dryness leaving skin feeling silky and smooth. It isn’t as oily as some other oils and soaks well into skin. It will help protect against UV rays that causes skin damage from the sun. Avocado oil can help reduce the signs of aging and give skin a fresh look.

Avocado oil is great to use for people with sensitive skin. It is also used to help prevent and help aide people who struggle with acne. Because it has vitamin E in it which is good for your skin, it also helps with psoriasis too. It is good for the scalp and you can message it in for a hot oil treatment if you have a dandruff problem and it should help relieve the flaking.

Coconut- Not Only Great For Your Skin But A Healthy Food Source

Coconut is a very good super fruit to eat and is in a variety of foods. It makes for a delicious ingredient in desserts to a coating on shrimp. Coconut milk is also tasty and healthy to drink and an alternative for those who do not want to drink dairy milk. Adding Organic Coconut to the diet can help with increasing the immune system. Coconuts are full of fiber, are a good kind of fat and helps with digestive problems.

Using a coconut oil on the skin is good for moisturizing it and making it feel soft and it helps reduce wrinkles and age spots. It has vitamin K and E. The vitamin K can help aide dark circles, dark spots, stretch marks and scars. Vitamin E aides in scars too, like acne for example and helps with moisture to the skin. Vitamin E is also an antioxidant.

It used in Shampoo and Conditioner too. It can repair damaged and dry hair and can make the hair soft and shiny.

Coconut oil is a good protection for being out in the sun because it can help protect the from harmful UV rays.

Healthy Inside- Makes Healthy Skin

Eating Healthy makes a person more energetic, feel better about themselves and they are more inclined to exercise and take care of the over all health. They will make sure the food they pick is not processed and that is fresh and not full of fillers. Foods Full of Sugar will not be on the list either. Lots of Fruits and vegetables will be on the list. Healthy fats as well.

People eating healthy are taking care of their skin and caring about what they put in their bodies. Like most health conscious people, they will be reading the labels to make sure the ingredients are natural or organic and there aren’t any harsh chemicals in the products they are using.

Be proactive with your health. Eat healthy. Use healthy, natural or organic products when ever possible. Stay away from harsh chemicals and try to kick bad habits.

Sun and Your Skin-Wearing Organic Sunscreen to Protect Against Harmful UV Rays

Our Long Cold Winter and the Sun Is Out- I’m Getting A Tan

Everyone loves when Summer finally arrives after a long cold wet Winter. The sun comes out and the temperature goes up. What does everyone want to do? They want to put on the swimsuits and get out into the sun and feel that warmth on their skin. If you are close to a beach, you head to the sun and the water to play.

I know when I was younger that is exactly what I did. Without even thinking about the effects it would cause as I got older. In my generation we didn’t really think of sunscreen in our teenage years. All we really thought about was how tan we could get and who was going to get tan the fastest. We would get a sunburn the first time out in the sun. Sunburns can be miserable and you can become quite sick from one. All the while I was abusing my skin. My parents made me use sunscreen when I was with them or I was out on the boat. After my first or second sunburn I would start tanning.

I and my girlfriends actually used oils that I wouldn’t dream of using today because back then I had no idea how harmful they were or that I literally was cooking my skin. I thank my lucky stars that I do not so far have skin cancer. It is scary to think about. I have used sunscreen for years now and glad that I have. I have educated myself to the chemical factor as well. Skin cancer can take your life.

Wearing Sunscreen- Protect Your Skin

Organic Sunscreen on your skin

Today’s generation seems to be more proactive in taking care of their skin and body. I see them applying sunscreen when they are out in the sun and applying it to their children as well. It is important to use organic sunscreen. Using the many sunscreens on the market today still have harsh chemicals that penetrate our skin and get into our blood stream and can cause a long term effect in our health care down the road.

There are organic sunscreens on the market now days that protect your skin and nourish your skin too. They have natural ingredients in them. They are products that are safe to use on all ages. Sunflower seed oil can be found in organic sunscreen. Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide are also found in organic sun screen. They are used as an alternative to chemicals. They are considered because they help block out the sun from your skin and they are a mineral. Sunscreens also may have other organic ingredients such as moisturizers.

You should apply sunscreen as directed before you go in the water and every couple of hours.

Don’t Forget Your Hat, Glasses and Lips

Many people do not think about their eyes when the sun is out. I see so many people driving or walking around when the sun is out squinting instead of wearing a pair of sunglasses. Your eyes need protection too. UV rays penetrate your eyes too. I went to the Eye Specialist with my mom and her Doctor told her that the dark spots in a persons eyes were caused by the sun. For instance if your eyes are blue, tiny brown spots can develop. The Eye Doctor can see them with his machine. He said it was important to wear eye protection in the sun. Glasses with UV protection are best.

A hat at the beach or working outside helps keep the sun off your face. When I pass big farm fields I see a lot of the farm hands wearing hats and think that it not only protects them from the sun but must help keep them a little cooler from the rays of the sun.

Don’t forget to get some organic lip balm. Your lips can sunburn too. I went
fishing on a lake out in a boat in early Spring last year and I had some lip moisturizer with me. It didn’t have any sunscreen in it. It wasn’t hot that day and the wind was chilly. I was wearing several layers and it was cloudy. My lips got sunburned anyway and they blistered and it took several weeks for them to completely heal. That was a painful lesson. Always carry an organic lip balm with SPF.

Drink Lots of Water- Hydrate Your Body

Drink plenty of waterWhile you are out enjoying all this fun in the sun, whether you are swimming, playing at the beach, bicycling or working at home in your garden, remember to drink lots of water. The sun will make you perspire and you will need to replenish with liquids. I have read that you should drink half of your body weight in ounces of water. If you are 130 pounds, they say you should drink 65 ounces of water a day. Water also helps your skin to stay healthy. It doesn’t become so dry if you have dry skin.

Use Organic Sunscreen- Choose a Better Time of Day for Sun Activities

If you are someone who does like to lay in the sun a little on a sunny day, use a good sunscreen with a high SPF and don’t lay out between the time of 10 am and 2 pm. That is said to be the worst time to be in the sun. Don’t lay out too long. It really isn’t good to lay out at all. Now days there is good organic self tanners that give you a tan without laying in the sun.

Plan your outing to the beach to be later so in the afternoon the harmful rays are passed already. You still should be applying the sunscreen. Use beach umbrellas and beach chairs. You can get pretty warm sitting on that sand without shade. Going to parks can be a lot cooler when the sun is out. Morning outings are nice in the summer.

Make a check list before heading out to your fun filled day. Do you have the organic sunscreen, lip balm, sunglasses, hat, water, blanket or chair, big umbrella and don’t forget those snacks. You might want a camera too or if you are like most people now days they use their smart phones. Enjoy the sun but take care of your skin.

Men and Organic Skin Care-They Want Healthy Skin Too

Organic Skin Care For Men

Caring For Your Skin Isn’t Just For Women

Men are using organic skin care products too. It has become a big market today. Men many years ago appeared not to be as interested in the appearance of their skin or what was in the products they used. As the years go by and we learn about the harsh chemicals that are in the skin products, men become aware and want to look and feel better as well.

Men may have had to work hard physical jobs outside in the weather all year long and that can be hard on the body and the skin. Rain, sun and wind can cause premature aging and wrinkles. Older men are caring about their reflection that stares back at them in the mirror. Men are buying anti aging products so they can try to erase some years from their looks and feel better about themselves.

Men of all ages are buying organic products and have become aware that it is also good for our earth. They don’t like chemicals that are being put into our skin care products. Our younger generation are now teaching their children the importance of organic skin care.

Men Face Care-Some Tips

Wash your face morning and night with and organic face wash. Use a face wash that matches your skin type. Dry, oily or sensitive skin. Exfoliate with an organic scrub or organic exfoliating scrub sponge every other day. Then moisturize with a moisturizer that also matches your skin type. Use a day moisturizer for daytime and night moisturizer for nighttime.

Using a shaving foam can cause some irritation if you don’t use one with organic ingredients. Some shave creams have and these ingredients in them. Triethanolamine, propylene glycol and phthalates. These are serious chemicals and cause your skin damage over use. Choosing shaving products with plant based ingredients can be better on your skin. If you have sensitive skin, read the label and get one that says for sensitive skin. Some organic ingredients can still give you a rash or red face.

You can also get a razor burn or cuts when using a razor. There are organic products that are great for moisturizing after shaving that relieves your skin.

Anti aging skin care products come in serums and creams. You can get them in eye serums for just applying around your eyes. Night creams for after washing your face before bed time. They help reduce the fine lines and wrinkles. After daily use your skin starts looking and feeling better.

Men and Acne

Wash your face in the morning and at night. Use an organic cleanser that is meant to help clear up your acne. Getting a good organic exfoliating cleanser will help remove dead skin and blackheads. Some exfoliants are liquid and some come with granules or ground nut shells. There are also organic exfoliating sponges you can purchase instead.

You may notice green tea extract as an ingredient in your acne products. It is antioxidant and it will kill the acne bacteria. Tea tree oil and willow bark may also be ingredients. Different places making the products will use different ingredients but it will be organic if it states organic.

Find a moisturizer to use for acne prone skin. This will help you with your acne. Some moisturizers can help reduce the appearance of acne scars or make them disappear over time.

Drink plenty of water. It helps to flush the toxins out of our body. Repeat daily.

Men With Different Skin Types

Dry skin- Men battling dry skin need to use a good organic skin lotion that has ingredients such as cocoa butter and Shea butter. Jojoba oil and Aloe Vera are two more ingredients that are soothing and healing for dry skin. Coconut oil is a great moisturizer. It is natural and can be by itself or in skin care products.

Oily skin is another type of skin that you would choose a different organic skin care product to use. Different ingredients would be better for oily skin. Aloe Vera is also used for oily skin. It isn’t oily and doesn’t sit on the surface of your skin. Green tea might be another ingredient in the moisturizer you find for oily skin. It may be similar to an acne cream or lotion. A cream or lotion that is oil free.

Sensitive skin can be a problem for men too. They can get rashes from lotions, creams or soaps. When picking out organic products be sure to read your labels and if you know you have sensitive skin you might ask about some organic ingredients in the product. You can break out into a rash from even organic plant based products and oils if it is strong for your skin type.

Men That Choose Organic Skin Care.

With men using organic skin care products and being able to find and buy a broad selection of product in todays market it makes it better for our environment. It is fewer chemicals going into our earth and streams, rivers and lakes. Have you ever gone fishing and caught a fish in a river near a big city that was deformed? I was with someone who had. It gives you pause to think about what goes into our streams and rivers. Chemicals. Some same chemicals that go into skin care products.

Men going organic and taking care of their skin will help them feel and look better. They may avoid health issues that can occur from using skin products that contain harsh chemicals. The more organic skin care products that are bought, the less the other products will be bought by consumers.

Men being the other half of the population can help educate and share how well organic skin care is working for them and share what they are learning. They can help make a difference and a better environment for the next generation. Hopefully our government will eventually ban some of these chemicals from being allowed into our products.

Organics For Beauty-Why It Is A Good Idea

Organic Products- What isn’t in them

Organic products are going to be free from chemicals and pesticides. Some Chemicals and pesticides that are sprayed on the crops end up in our lotions and creams. Therefore, they end up on your skin which end up in your body because they absorb down into your bloodstream .

Other chemicals which through studies and research have been said to have been linked to certain Cancers have been used in our beauty products. Skin lotions, facial wash, body wash and hair products as well as many other products we use on a daily basis for our hygiene.

These chemicals are listed on the labels of the products and should be avoided and here are a few of them. This one I can’t even pronounce. Imidazolidinyl Urea DMDM Hydantoin. Have you heard of Formaldehyde? This long chemical can in certain situations cause a formaldehyde allergic reaction.

Another chemical is Mineral Oil and it is made from Petroleum. This is a picture of a Petroleum Refinery. It doesn’t absorb into the skin but sits on top smothering the pores of the skin. Baby oil is 100 percent mineral oil. Pour some into a glass and add one soda cracker and let it soak for twenty minutes. Take the cracker out. It will still be crisp when you break it in half. The cracker cannot absorb the oil. That cannot be good on a baby’s skin.

They may also be linked with breast cancer. There are many more listed on labels of our beauty products. Some lists are longer than others. None of the chemicals are good for our skin. They mix some good ingredients in the beauty products and on the labels to make us think they are good for us.

Organic Products- What is in Them

Organic beauty products are plant based products. The ingredients are all organic and natural. Not only are they made from plants, they also can have different fruits in them such as organic grapefruit, pears, mangoes, oranges, apples and lemons.

They may have lavender or chamomile for a calming a relaxing type of lotion or cream. Teas, ginger root and other organic herbs can be used in our beauty products that we apply to our skin. Aloe Vera is another ingredient you may find on the label as well.

Organic oils are also used in creams and lotions. Some oils you might find in organic products are organic coconut oil, organic avocado oil, organic rose hip seed oil, organic sunflower oil, organic cocoa butter, organic Shea butter and you might find organic olive oil. Organic essential oils can be found in some products.

Organic and Natural Skin- Good for the Skin

Organic coconut oil is a natural anti aging oil that moisturizes your skin. It soaks into your skin when you rub it in. It helps dry skin. When using it around your eyes, your fine lines become less. You can use it out of the jar. With most oils using it straight, it would probably be best to use it in a little area first to make sure it isn’t too strong if you have sensitive skin.

Organic avocado oil is another oil great for your skin. Vitamin E it is an anti aging oil and is supposed to help aid in keeping your skin producing collagen.

Organic olive oil is good for your skin. It has an antioxidant in it. Also, has a healthy fat that is good for your skin. It is said to be anti aging as well. Vitamin E is in this oil.

Organic Sunflower seed oil is said to reduce dark spots. Using this oil will lesson dark circles under your eyes. Sunflower seed oil helps prevent sun damage. It has beta carotene in it. Vitamin E is also in this oil.

Different types of Skin- Dry-Oily-Acne

Dry skin can be very uncomfortable, especially when your hands are dry and cracked. It is sometimes red, cracked and itchy and even burns. Some lotions and creams on the market can irritate our skin instead of make them feel better or make them worse. Mostly because of the chemicals in them. Using organic creams and lotions or organic and natural oils can heal them much faster. The organic oils That work best for very dry skin are: organic avocado oil and organic sunflower oil. Organic lotion with cocoa butter and Shea butter with some organic oils in them work well too. Organic creams and hand lotions with oatmeal also helps with dry and cracked skin.

Oily skin can also be a problem. Even beauty products can cause problems with the chemicals they use for this type of skin. Organic products can help this type of skin by using the right organic and natural products to balance out your skin to help reduce the oils. Organic aloe Vera is a great to use for someone with oily skin. It isn’t heavy and it is not greasy. Organic creams with jojoba in it also is good for oily skin.

Acne is a bothersome problem. There are so many products out there that claim to get rid of it. The harsh chemicals in most of them just irritate the acne and then you end up with scars. Using organic products not only start clearing up your acne but can also clear up your scars as well. Organic coconut oil and organic aloe Vera can be good for acne skin. Both won’t clog pores. There are organic facial creams with Jojoba in them that is good for people that have acne problems. It helps with acne scars as well.

About Terri

Welcome! I am happy that you have an interest that I share. I enjoy having healthy skin. Through the years it has been hard to find products that worked for me. Growing up I had sensitive and dry skin. At a younger age, I also had eczema. I found that using certain lotions would break me out into rashes. Laundry detergents and soaps would do the same.

I remember one day in the second grade I wore this cute dress to school and I was itching so bad the teacher took me in the bathroom and looked at me and I had a rash and she had to call my mother. My mother had to bring something different for me to wear. It was from a laundry soap she had washed the dress in.

As I got older I started reading labels and realized I needed to start using more natural products. Caring about my skin and my health has taught me to become a label reader. My skin and body are very important to me and that is why I like organic products. In my opinion, they are the best for us.

Your skin is what protects your body. It helps regulate your temperature. It also helps protects your immune system. Anything you put onto your skin absorbs into the cells of your skin, which also go into your bloodstream. We want to protect our skin and our health.

If you are using lotions or creams that have harsh chemicals in them, those chemicals are absorbing into your body. Using products that are not organic and have those harsh chemicals in them can cause a long term health risk that many people do not think about.

Even using parabens on a regular basis can be risky and are used as a preservative in many skin care products we apply to our skin. Consumers are using it daily in small amounts but over time it adds up. This chemical and others may lead to health problems. Organic products do not use paraben or other harsh chemicals. You can have healthier skin by using organic products.

My hope is you will find that incorporating organic products into your life you will  feel healthier. Reading the articles on this site you will become more educated in what is healthy for your skin. This site also will speak to you about a healthy body and mind. The body as a whole working together for good health. What goes into your body shows on the outside.

Going organic would be a good solution for over all beauty. Your skin not only feels soft and silky, it will look better. There are many skin care products to choose from that are designed for your needs. What’s great about it too is that you are getting natural ingredients that are good for your skin and over all health. It makes you feel great!
