Organic Products- What isn’t in them

Organic products are going to be free from chemicals and pesticides. Some Chemicals and pesticides that are sprayed on the crops end up in our lotions and creams. Therefore, they end up on your skin which end up in your body because they absorb down into your bloodstream .

Other chemicals which through studies and research have been said to have been linked to certain Cancers have been used in our beauty products. Skin lotions, facial wash, body wash and hair products as well as many other products we use on a daily basis for our hygiene.

These chemicals are listed on the labels of the products and should be avoided and here are a few of them. This one I can’t even pronounce. Imidazolidinyl Urea DMDM Hydantoin. Have you heard of Formaldehyde? This long chemical can in certain situations cause a formaldehyde allergic reaction.

Another chemical is Mineral Oil and it is made from Petroleum. This is a picture of a Petroleum Refinery. It doesn’t absorb into the skin but sits on top smothering the pores of the skin. Baby oil is 100 percent mineral oil. Pour some into a glass and add one soda cracker and let it soak for twenty minutes. Take the cracker out. It will still be crisp when you break it in half. The cracker cannot absorb the oil. That cannot be good on a baby’s skin.

They may also be linked with breast cancer. There are many more listed on labels of our beauty products. Some lists are longer than others. None of the chemicals are good for our skin. They mix some good ingredients in the beauty products and on the labels to make us think they are good for us.

Organic Products- What is in Them

Organic beauty products are plant based products. The ingredients are all organic and natural. Not only are they made from plants, they also can have different fruits in them such as organic grapefruit, pears, mangoes, oranges, apples and lemons.

They may have lavender or chamomile for a calming a relaxing type of lotion or cream. Teas, ginger root and other organic herbs can be used in our beauty products that we apply to our skin. Aloe Vera is another ingredient you may find on the label as well.

Organic oils are also used in creams and lotions. Some oils you might find in organic products are organic coconut oil, organic avocado oil, organic rose hip seed oil, organic sunflower oil, organic cocoa butter, organic Shea butter and you might find organic olive oil. Organic essential oils can be found in some products.      

Organic and Natural Skin- Good for the Skin

Organic coconut oil is a natural anti aging oil that moisturizes your skin. It soaks into your skin when you rub it in. It helps dry skin. When using it around your eyes, your fine lines become less. You can use it out of the jar. With most oils using it straight, it would probably be best to use it in a little area first to make sure it isn’t too strong if you have sensitive skin.

Organic avocado oil is another oil great for your skin. Vitamin E it is an anti aging oil and is supposed to help aid in keeping your skin producing collagen.

Organic olive oil is good for your skin. It has an antioxidant in it. Also, has a healthy fat that is good for your skin. It is said to be anti aging as well. Vitamin E is in this oil.

Organic Sunflower seed oil is said to reduce dark spots. Using this oil will lesson dark circles under your eyes. Sunflower seed oil helps prevent sun damage. It has beta carotene in it. Vitamin E is also in this oil.

Different types of Skin- Dry-Oily-Acne

Dry skin can be very uncomfortable, especially when your hands are dry and cracked. It is sometimes red, cracked and itchy and even burns. Some lotions and creams on the market can irritate our skin instead of make them feel better or make them worse. Mostly because of the chemicals in them. Using organic creams and lotions or organic and natural oils can heal them much faster. The organic oils That work best for very dry skin are: organic avocado oil and organic sunflower oil. Organic lotion with cocoa butter and Shea butter with some organic oils in them work well too. Organic creams and hand lotions with oatmeal also helps with dry and cracked skin.

Oily skin can also be a problem. Even beauty products can cause problems with the chemicals they use for this type of skin. Organic products can help this type of skin by using the right organic and natural products to balance out your skin to help reduce the oils. Organic aloe Vera is a great to use for someone with oily skin. It isn’t heavy and it is not greasy. Organic creams with jojoba in it also is good for oily skin.

Acne is a bothersome problem. There are so many products out there that claim to get rid of it. The harsh chemicals in most of them just irritate the acne and then you end up with scars. Using organic products not only start clearing up your acne but can also clear up your scars as well. Organic coconut oil and organic aloe Vera can be good for acne skin. Both won’t clog pores. There are organic facial creams with Jojoba in them that is good for people that have acne problems. It helps with acne scars as well.

Organic beauty products offer you better skin and over all health. Having the knowledge of good ingredients being put into the products you are using also makes for a healthier life style.
